2800sx Next Steps

Chuck, what did you ultimately wind up with for setback brackets/jackplates??
I went with heavy duty manual called Rapid Jacks with 8" of setback. The 8 inches provides just enough clearance for the steering tie bar and plenty of engine tilt that almost gets the props out of the water. I'll snap a picture when the weather here in NJ improves.

I used a 14" Rapid Jack on my last Pulsare 2100. They make great stuff! I'm thinking about going to a 17" Hyd. Porta bracket on my 2800 if I wind up keeping the boat!

Pretty bad ass. That is a seriously legit boat and I'm thrilled you jumped on it when it became available. The motors and the hull look great and go well together, although I have to say for scientific reasons, 700 HP can make just about anything look pretty dang good! :thumb:

Nice boat, Chuck!!

Wanted to give a shout out to Spencer aka Ramafications for all his help with laying out the dash and many other areas that needed some cutting tool craftsmanship. :lol:Plus all the helpful feedback from the forum on the setup.:thumb:
I will try to get some action shots for BOTM candidates. Here's a shot on the rear

It is great to get it on the water and keep it in the water:bigthumb: Thanks to you Bravo 1, the paint and upholstery look great:thumb: The motor and rigging setup are spot on. I attached an action shot even though it was getting dark and difficult to make out the colors. Still trying to get some good action pics.
