4" Stainless Tips Help

Problem Child

Well-known member
I was running the lake last weekend and saw a Donzi with some tips I would like that had a very slight turn down. I was wondering if any one could hook me up with a good supplier or have seen any. I have not run across any and ready to drop my mufflers and fly.

The downturn is sometimes called a balony cut, or it is achieved given the angle of the tip as it mounted to the flange and how this works with the transom angle. Pics might make the tip look straight, but the flange creates an angle and the tip is pointed down. Combined with the baloney cut, it can look pretty unique.

Thanks for that good info. I have not had any luck and was just trying to get the exhaust away from my swim platform. The tips are only 2" below now. Again thanks and I am going with 4" shorts with the angle cut from CP.

I have always run through mufflers and once I found out they still were at 90 decible (illegal)I thought maybee I will gain a little speed with some new tips.
