454 Magnum MPI

vinny p.

Active member
Since my 540 worked out well this season, I think I can let my 454 go. It's a '99 454 Magnum MPI long block. The motor is complete with all electronics but it is minus bellhousing, exhaust, pulleys, power steering pump, alternator, oil cooler, motor mounts. It has about 330 hours of closed cooling system use--- never saw any sea water at all----It ran perfect the last time I used it.

I have not yet decided on a price. I know it is not worth as much as a complete bobtail but the major components are there..

i gotta ask...........

how much? my brother may be looking soon, needs something to drop in his boat to sell!!

sorry to pester you, i just cant get him interested if he didnt know how good of a buy it was. ill forward it on.

I don't know if I could make all of this work, but Boatn70 would you be interested in a good running 1995 7.4 for around 2250.00? That way I might be able to buy the mag off of Vinney P. Just a question that I am throwing out there?

I already got the pic's from you from another forum. Just happened to be looking around on the net today and found this forum. I am in Cincinnati, Ohio.

cool, i gottem, i didnt realize it was a mag motor!! i forwarded your info to two people....hopefully theyll bite. location might be an issue though!!

Sorry for not replying sooner, it looks like I am going to have to stick with my engine for this year. Redoing the house and building a building for the boat is enough of a strain on the back pocket.

just forwarded someone to you last night, hope he sent you an email. i forwarded the photos too.
