74 Mx 16 For Sale

Member
This Boat is for sale, the Floor has gone soft, the transome has a steel reinforcing plate on it and I am not sure of the condition of the transome. It has been painted white, which has begun to peel a little.I am selling this boat as is, for restoration. I was running a 115 merc on it. I don't have the funds for restorating it so I am hoping to sell it to some who will restore it properly.

The trailer and motor don't go with it in the pictures, It is on another trailer that will suffice to get it home

Email if interested At greattrumpet@msn.com
Thanks
Will

I'm asking $500

I think $500 is a fair price for a boat that needs retoration(new floor Possibly transom). A offer of $150 is kinda lowball, I know of a marina in toledo that will give me $200 for it without even seeing it.

I didn't want to insult you...

I hate offering. I started real low just in case you would take it...can't blame me can ya? $500 is more than fair for the boat. I am just swingin some things to gather funding. My MX 15 restoration is eatin me up because I have to get parts and such when they are available. PM your number to me. I am off Sunday and can come and look at it...I may just take it home if funding goes ok(I mean if Kristi says it's okay)

I might ebay this boat

I'm asking $500 for it, I can go a little less other wise I'm going to put it on ebay and let it go to the highest bidder.

I just thought I'd let you guys get a look at it first, and not have to deal with ebay and the listing fees.

Wanted to see it

Got tied up with a service call when I went to the Marina that lasted till 8pm. I work the rest of the week off again on sunday, but if you need moolah, ya better ebay cause mine said we'd think about it once we saw it. Which usually means I want something different, better, not so much a project, etc.

74-75 Mx 16 now on ebay

I decided that I have to move the boat, I need the cash. I'm starting bidding at $399.99, with no reserve other than that.

gtrumpet,

I noticed your boat is no longer on Ebay....were you able to sell it?

I was hoping to run with you on Devils Lake this year.

On Round Lake Hwy (north of The Highland Beach Inn and a few houses past the big red one on the curve) there is a 80's style checkmate that has been sitting on the side of a cottage now for a couple of years....you should check it out I bet the owner would sell it.....cheap.

I just relisted the boat

The guy who was supposed to buy was in england supposedly he was going to ship it over there, and restore it. Anyway that fell through, the guys no longer a registered ebay user, and he stopped responding to emails. So now i'm relisting it and i'm out 80 bucks for the listing

Diplomat 82 I do have a boat that would probably beat yours. Its a 72 14' Cobra, the baja nockoff of a mx-14 , ive got my 115 on it. Although I'll also be selling that too, it rides too rough, although its screamer.

Will,
I hope you have better luck this time around on EBAY.....just don't fall for those South America scams. Check out in Cement City a consignment shop called (I think) 'This and That' they may let you park your boat there for a small fee. They are trying to buy Trader Bob's old place.

My mate is more of the "leisure" style mate and not the "hold on and crap your pants" style. So I'm sure the majority of the boats out there would dance around me. I may pull the motor this winter thou.
