80 mph

That tuner and housing is what I put on my 200XRI. Housing was pretty cool as it could be plugged for quieting down if desired.

Snap it over at the dock, running down the lake, it could be heard forever. Half the time, didn't even care if I could beat other boats. Nothing around sounded as bad ***. It literally felt like it was going 20 MPH faster.

Everything else I did to that motor, shaved heads, light flyweel, ECU flash, etc. was useless and a waste of $ IMO. Boat didn't go any faster and, like Red said, asking for nothing but problems.

Exhaust will do nothing on that motor. The bobs exhaust mod can weeken the mid.If you must have the sound pull the can out and drill it like a 260 in the lower mid section. It can clear the mid out a bit of the water so it will come out of the hole a bit better.Speed is in the set up.With the motor set back and up higher itll be a different boat.I would have the heads cut for 140ish psi,a cheap mod through JSRE and very easily done.Go with a trophy plus,a great all around prop and with the small diameter it will allow you to maybe spin one more pitch then you could with a larger daimeter prop.Putting the boat on a diet is also huge. Not sure how yours is layed out but on my start flight I was able to drop alot of weight.Anything in of your seat is worth half again what its worth behind you.I went as a far as removeing the head liner in the bow as well as the side carpet,I then painted it all with a high gloss dark grey paint. It looked alot better and was a weight savings of a bit.I redid the side storage witha lighter wood and made them speaker compartments. It all adds up when trying to lose weight. All that will make the boat alot different boat itll air out alot easier to say the least.
