" For Sale" '82 Checkmate Eluder I/O, 470 Mercruiser

I have to sell my Eluder, because I need the money more than the boat :(
I'm not sure what to ask for it, but I have way more into it than I will get back out (which is the usual case.) SO make me an offer and I will consider it.

The GOOD: Solid hull. I replaced the floor w/ 5/8" BCX plywood, so it should be good for a long while. I painted it, but I still have the carpet for a pattern or even to re-use (it's not great, but not horrible.) The motor runs like a top and has the upgraded heat exchanger, the automotive alternator and the Pertronix ignition..all the essential upgrades for the 470 (3.7L 4 cyl.) This motor will push this boat to about 50mph and do it all day long on one tank of gas.
I recently replaced the gimbal bearing.
Also comes with a great galvanized trailer, with almost new TRAILER tires.

The BAD: THe gas tank is leaking :( It's been getting worse. It used to be unnoticeable, except that after a few months of non-use, the 1/4 to 1/2 tank of gas that is invariably left after a day on the water (did I mention it gets great gas mileage?) would be mysteriously missing. Now it has got to the point where I can smell it.
THe oil pressure and trim gauges aren't working.

THe UGLY: The hull below the rub-rail will buff out to almost new (I've done one side so far), but the topside is very oxidized. I have already wet sanded almost the entire topside with 600. So it will be up to the next owner to decide if they want to buff it from there, or to clear coat it.
The interior is not rotten or torn, but it is stained in a few places...not bad, but not great. Certainly usable. ALso, some of the staples are rusting out. A few stainless steel staples is all it really needs to be presentable. But totally usable as is.
Anything that I forgot to mention, please ask. And please save this boat from EBAY!!!

These are some older photos. I will be adding recent photos tonight.

PS I am in central Florida.
