88 Senator Big Chevy power in Pittsburgh

Hey everyone, I joined this forum to get some ideas for this new project I have in my shop and got hooked! Tons of great input and pics... great job!

My name is Chuck Courty, I hang with a bunch of guys that run bigger, faster? stuff here around Pittsburgh.

I have been racing a blown alcohol mud racer for 12 years ( check us out at www.mudmissile.com )and injected stuff since the dirt was still warm. Now I got back into the boat stuff a couple years ago while helping a few buddys build engines for thier boats (Baja with twin 454`s and a Cig Bullet with twin blown 502`s, right now a Sunsation with twin 454`s). The guy with the Baja bought this `mate, then gave it to me for helping him out. Cool huh!

What I have is an `88 Senator that right now has a fresh 454 and a bravo-1. Now I`m looking forward to getting it in top shape and of course faster for the summer!

I`m looking for advice since this is kind of new to me and from what I`m reading you people are on top of your game!

Hey Skater,
We are all on the Allegheny, the guys I hang with are right above lock 3. There arent too many cats on that river, are you the one up around Brady? Also, do you know of any 27' to 30' cats for sale without power? My buddy with the Cigs is looking for one.

Sorry about thursday zstevens!

Well then, we run the same waters. I have the red and white Skater which is the same as listed here for sale. I really didn't get much of a chance this past summer to spend time boating. Think I only had 10 hours run time on the engine. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
