89 Ambassador before and after

Thanks to all who replied to my threads in the Overhaulin section. I bought this about a month ago, stripped all the vinyl striping off (what a job!) and put original decals on it, a bimini and a some polish and cleaning and here we are, before and after.

wow... MUCH better! Makes me wish whoever previously owned my boat used striping instead of paint when they tried to gussy it up.

Thanks for all the comments. I decided to put off the outdrive repainting for a year until I get a lift. Hopefully next year if I can get it on a lift I can get it painted and it will last!
