89 Starliner Factory Refirb

The trailer is going to make it feel like you traveled back in time to purchasing this boat and trailer new in 1989. If you really want to screw with kip, go in 80s clothing and ask him to role play like you just walked into a show room and are looking for your first new boat. Tell him no final check until he plays along

Let's see, 1989.... If you do this, AT LEAST one you has to be rocking a mullet in the video....

UPDATE!!!

Alrighty...words cannot express how exciting these pics have gotten me. I've probably pissed off Kip badgering him for pics...but he came through with these and it's got me pretty excited.

You can really see where the gel was worn through on the hull and how far back it went. Thus the decision to respray. This baby will have a white keel guard and will only sit in the lift from here on out.

Lastly...she's now getting all freshened up with new gel...hard to believe how much the new white pops against the old white. Love it.

Mullet's

Mullets can take 70lbs off a man?
Maybe that's the secret to fighting the obesity epidemic! :rof:
The last time I had a mullet was 1980 something, and I just got my first checkmate, a sportfire with a 135 merc. I could have sworn you had to have a mullet back then to drive a checkmate.

Did they give you any idea when to expect it back?

I told them they can have it until spring if it helps them out and then I don't have to pay for storage. I won't be going down to pick it up until the roads are free of salt and winter grime. Probably late April or early May.

Let me know when you go get it. Its only a couple hours away, if I'm not busy I'd like to come and check it out.
