89 Starliner Factory Refirb

Congratulations on a beautiful project and a "new" boat. Those seats really bring a modern look to the boat. That new motor is going to help too! Still anxious to see that G2 hanging off the back!

Yeah Man...I think the new motor and interior with the old school lines of the Starliner is going to look killer. I would love to see 80 in this hull, but I don't think it will get there. 70's for sure, but...we'll see. Either way, it's going to look as good at idling along at 5 mph or bringing the mail at 75.

Getting excited.

Talked with Dean today and they're not going to make the deadline. They asked for an extra week. I told them no problem...my calendar is so full is doesn't matter...I won't get there until mid May now. Oh well...the water is still too cold up here, anyway.

Where is the dislike button.........

Update from the factory

Got an email from Dean at the factory. Dean is a solid dude. Anyway, they're struggling right now. Not sure when the boat will be done. My calendar is full until June...we'll see. <sigh>

Stuggling with what? Building anything new? I've heard of a few resto's in there.
Honestly I was hoping for a new life there with Hustler backing but now I'm just not feeling it. Hope you get yours back soon. looks like its going to be real nice.

Sounds like dealing with contractors.
You NEVER EVER tell them to take their time😎

I hope it all works out for you.
I'm waiting on carburetor jets to get mine back out.

Update

I received some pics of the interior...it's absolutely stunning! Not posting pics until it's done...a color tweak needs to happen on two panels and I'm not posting it until it's complete.

Seriously. I sent them an email telling them I'm coming to pick it up the week of the 23rd. Crickets.
