sacrifice is never easy......or cheap in this case.......these things do not have a high rate of return thats for sure.......but keep you chin up evans! all good things will come.......and hopefully before the baby does

sippy you should buy this boat and run it for a few years and then move up to your 300 you would be astounded how well it rides for its size i personally have had it out i 6 footers and at full speed in 3-4s

a few years? if i have anything to say about it we'll be beat up the mississippi in a 300 much sooner!

i know i would love evens boat and obviously it is on my mind but.......

speakin of full speed, how fast is this boat?

it ran 71-72 as a best for me gps but it should be faster now he put better heads on it from what i understand, i think some freer flowing exhaust would make a big difference that was next on my list before my hustler came along and i think high on jesses list before his pregnant wife came along

I was about to order a set of headers from mk but she found out she was pregnant. With headers and the new heads on it the boat should see 78 and maybe more. I hit 74 on gps with the small prop. With that big prop on there you should really be moving then. This boat is extremely smooth I have hit some big wake with it and it didn't even bat an eye at it and kept digging.

I'm surprised you didn't use that big prop more I really liked how it handled the boat even came up on plane faster with it and it really aired the hull out that's right sippy this boat comes with two damn near perfect props a 22p bravo 1 and one of those race labbed cutting edge props in 24

lol! you sold this boat to evans how long ago?

Nov 2010. I was planning on running the big prop next session. That away I would have plenty of experience behind the wheel. Lol

So the boat has 380+ hrs. Have the hours been tracked on the new motor? How about after the head job? Do you have all paperwork on motor/head work?

TN is a ways from MN

Jazzy knows how many hours were on the motor, I can't remember, and the heads have maybe 12more hours on them I do have the receipts on the heads. They were machined by a professional shop named Whites Performance in Kingsport TN. The boat was winterized by the same marina that did the motor work. It consisted of the normal motor winterizing and the lower unit went through with new seals, fluids, and checked for any wear that needed fixing. Which it needed no no bearings or anything as they were all in good shape.

Sippy I swapped motors right around low 300's it had 45 or 50 hrs on it when Jesse bought . If you have any questions about it you can pm me, but this was a very clean boat and Jesse does not strike me as the kind of guy to let it go to crap. I'm sorry I feel like were ganging up on you And pushing you towards this rig but you seem very interested if your not just say so and I'll leave you alone

I have taken very good care of this boat. I have changed the oil 3 times and only had it on the water about 7 times. I even had it professionally buffed and waxed and detailed twice. This boat is mt pride and joy and I show it off every chance I get. But my baby girl that's on the way is gonna be my new pride and joy so I must sell this boat.

just curious

what kind of rpm did you run with the 22 at WOT? I liked the 22 on my old boat too.

to all that may be interested the 242 is a fast hull with the right power. sounds like this one should be in the 475-500 hp range? :D

To be honest I cant remember the exact rpm range I am wanting to say 54-56 hundred. This boat is etremely smooth and even at WOT you would never know you were going as fast as you are. The faring blocks alot of the wind, it will suprise you at how much it actually does block.

I need this boat sold!!!! So somebody buy this thing!!!
