Hi everyone I've not been on hear long, I picked up my first boat early this year it came with a 3 blade 23 prop and a 4 blade 23 prop. Can anyone tell me when I've got the 3 blade prop on the boat why it polls hard right and has a hard time trimming out and sound like the motors winding out like it can get enough water and with the wide open throttle the RPM are 4000 but with for 4 blade its 4500 and it doesn't do any of that other stuff.

Convincor hulls LOVE a 4 blade Bravo 1 prop. If you can deal with the handling issues of a 3 blade, you might see a couple more MPH out of it. For me, its worth losing the 1-2 MPH to have better handling, the boat get on plane easier and just be more pleasurable to drive.

+1 on what Corey said. I have a 253 Covincor and did some prop testing and by far the Bravo props are much better on this hull. On mine l run a Bravo 24p and l've also used a 25p Mirage Plus. While the Mirage Plus 1 - 2 mph faster the cavitation was more than l wanted to deal with in the turns. In the end the Bravo gives my boat a better all around feel hands down.

The Brivo 1 4 bladed 22 prop makes the ride so much better with handling and planning the boat it's like night and day from the 3 blanded prop. Ive been looking at getting a new prop would I get more top end with a 24 Brivo prop our is this as good as it get and I should just start looking into some motor upgrades.

It's a lot of work when I put the 3 bladed on and my girlfriend hates the ride. I haven't heard so much screaming out of her ever lol.

I'd say keep playing with the 4 Blade you have for now because 4500 rpm is still pretty low. If you have a MAG motor, the rev limiter should be right around 5150. If its a non MAG motor, you should still be able to spin it up to 4800. So you still have a few hundred rpm's to find. Start playing with trim and see what happens!!
