To all New Jersey Boaters from Manasquan Inlet to Waretown, Please be advised:
The NJPPC's 2nd and last Poker Run of the 2006 Season is this weekend Saturday, August 5th, 2006
We will have a total of 40 boats for this event. Our members will be arriving at the Toms River Lobster Shanty around 8:30-9:00am. We will be departing the Lobster Shanty at 11:15am and heading up river under escort by the NJ State Police. The majority of the distance traveled up the Toms River will be off plane as we have done in the past.
Once our group reaches the mouth of the Toms River, 20 boats will head north under the Mathis Bridge and proceed inside Kettle Creek for a card stop. The other 20 boats will head south to Waretown for a card stop. From there they will proceed out Barnegat Inlet and return inside at the Manasquan Inlet.
The Kettle Creek group will head south once the card stop is completed in Kettle Creek. They will head under the Mathis Bridge and proceed south to Waretown and eventually to the Manahawkin Bridge.
All of our participants have been notified to follow all the Rules of the Road.
