83, I can get that done. Are we going to make that for Florida and a few states around it?

Same deal as Coop's suggestion, let me know and we'll put it together.

I have no problem with it but, I am sure the GA Bulldog guys wont like it.

So this is just for Florida owners?

Remember, I'm a crazy Canook. ;)

So you have to guide me, hold my hand and walk me through all this local stuff. :D

What areas or states would that cover Coop?

Let me know and I'll put it together. :)
Eastern Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey.

Chesapeake is the correct spelling.

If captainmorgan likes the name then go for it.

you could toss richmond into that group since it is tidal effected from the chesapeake. we have a poker run each year starting just east of richmond (5 minutes or so) on the james river that runs to va beach.

Isn't that "eastern virginia"?

best of both worlds

Come on put your location down or are you ashamed of where you live. :brickwall:
man, im in the greatest place, a speed boaters dream, and seafood lovers dream. i can launch my chechmate within 2 minutes of my house, go rake me up a 100 seaside salt nick clams, and fly to ocean city md in 20 minutes. i can pull my boat up and in 10 minutes have it flying across the bay to pick up all the pounds of lump crabmeat (15$/lb) and softcrabs from my friends on tangeir island in 10 minutes. i throw away more freezer burnt seafood than people eat in a year . i can leave my home creek and fly to chrisfeild md in 10 min and it takes an hour by car. one thing for sure, ill not live long enough to see all the beauty of this ches bay just off va's eastern shore. i can be to reedville in a half hour which is near richmond 4 hours by car. every here knows my smilemakers and im drawing attention with my tunnel boat cause this bunch round here aint never seen nothing like it. my checkmate draws attention too, because of the 75-4 stroke on the back of it. a friend was out in the bay fishing and said he could hear it but couldnt see it. they say my tunnel sounds like a jet with those offshore housings. but there aint no motor that sounds like mercmans handgrenades. im a baysider from before birth, and hunting creek is my home creek. would you like to see some of the fish i catch? their as big as my wife, and i catch them 1/4 mile from the ramp. got work to do or could ramble forever, but ive got to be able to afford boat gas. good thin my boats dont cost much.:cheers

catch these in my back yard

:cheershey guys, the chesapeake spelling is correct. aint you heard of the ches bay bridge tunnel, hampton rhoads and the largest naval base in the world. i aint far from there north up the bay on va eastern shore. aint you ever heard of muudy creek, clam va, oyster va, cattail. call us the ches bay fools cause im a redneck on a computer, and my 1985 bs degree in electronics/computers make me feel like all i learned was pacman when looking at these icons. you all got some good ideas. there are probably a dozen checks here on the shore and me and merckman own 3 of them. chinco island is old school checks with guys older than me. now their back and more checks are showing up. im trying my best to put the esva on the map. i better tell captain morgan that its time to get serious and set that bottle down before he tries to drive this computer. speed boats are doing a major comeback here again, and something like your ideas could be great for the checks. what i need is checkmate 101, and that way ill ill get my masters degree, and stay pres of our "damned fools club". somebodys going to beat me 1 uh these days

I'm from Fairfax, VA. Used to hunt over on the Eastern shore. I mean, I knew you guys were weirdos, but Jeez! lol.

It would be nice to have one the midwest. More specifically, the IA, MN, NE, MO, SD area.

I saw a check at the ramp in Des Moines, IA last weekened, but he was pulling out and I was pulling in. No time to talk, just a friendly wave.

Location, Location AND Location

It seems that I did the same POST a few weeks ago!!! But thats OK while on the Barnegat Bay in NJ BoatPics.Com took pictures of me and you know who! But fellow Checks in the area will never know..........

Alrighty, let's see if I've got this right.

Gator Mates-Florida Owners

Chesapeake Mates-Eastern Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey Owners

Midwest Mates-IA, MN, NE, MO, SD, WI

Is that kewl?

If it is, let me know and I'll create those forums.

chesapeake checkmates

thats a good name. actually you could consider the entire chesapeake bay and all its rivers from va beach to baltimore md. its more boats and marinas than you can imagine. right here on this spit of land called eastern shore, where weve got several inhabited islands, within 10 miles of me are about 10 checks. ive not seen any within 60 miles north, or south, but im sure there are some other concentrations of them, mostly further up the bay into maryland. theres probably some in va beach, hampton rhoads areas, but mostly the big money boats. us few rednecks left here will make up for the whole east coast once they see what captainmorgan's getting ready to do. :thumb:

whats up big red? ive got a pontoon boat with the steering wheel on the other side too. good thing my enchanter is like a boat is supposed to be. ide like to carry you to tangeir island some day via my pontoon tour boat, and let you drive, and ill let captain morgan sit in the port side haha. how far away are you? i take turkey run road to get to muddy creek, to the party cabin. gotta watch out for rednecks on the wrong side, or stopped in the road, but once on the water, its heaven. ever been to the esva? youll be hearing bout those chesapeake checkmates, i hope. where you at? i need a vacation...

let me talk to the dog, he'll understand...

Your right I mean left or right I mean passanger or driverside> its the boat thing I figured it out a postal worker invented the boat. Thats why the damn steering wheel is on the wrong side.

man, aint you ever been on a boat ride that felt like you were at the blind epicenter of a screetching molecular tornado? well, i aint going to brag, cause i didnt hit a drawbridge yet, like my friend did. now they are building another bridge to chincoteague which means im going to hit marsh mud cause ive done it lots of times, being there was no bridge over here on bay side. marsh grass dont hurt like high tention steel.. thats why i only fly my boat at night on bayside, and only had to get my friends to help push my tunnel back to the water, after we walked the channel to the dock at 4am at 25 degrees in febuary. had my ice waders on instead of hip boots. got to the car and turned the heater on turned the heater on turned the heater on, know wut i mean?. but thats alllllllllllright, cause you guys with those high priced , lots $ spent, rich boy checkmates, aint never raced a slow boat like mine. my new 3 litre handgrenade cost me nothing except the cost of the gas that i was already burning on my way by daves house on my way to the creek. why did that guy spend 35k on a boat that wiggles its ansome. cost me more in whiskey than a welded patch on the previous 4 powerheads. yea, im that fool that has the peice of crap worthless boat that cost less than the tax they paid on theirs. ill race title for title, and only use a 200, and never get a new boat. mine is priceless, get it?
