Hi gang. Drove up to Middletown, PA from Southern, MD yesterday and bought a 30' Convincor. Joined your forum today. Looking forward to getting to know my boat through you guys.

I've owned a Sonic, a Velocity, a couple Bayliners (no rock throwing), and now a Checkmate.

Welcome aboard, your a experianced boat owner. It will be fun to see how you like your checkmate compared to the others ( not the Gayliner) no offense meant.
Were the others single or twin engines? I'm sure you will enjoy your new mate, Post some more pics when you get a chance.

Thirty footor with twin 496s! Way cool! I'm looking foreward to reading about your opinion of the mate as well. Glad you're here.

Thanks yall. All of the boats were 26 feet, single engines. The bayliner was a Cierra cabin cruiser.

I was going to post pics but it says I may NOT post attachments. Why?

Thank you all!

Yea Smit, I bought it from Duckys. They seem like nice folks. The boat may still be sitting out front. They're going to store it for me until spring.

I've been reading these boards and you guys have some wild set ups (and big balls). I don't mind going 70+ mph but not in the size boats you fools do. LOL
