the 26th of june we are going to try to get something together here in mass, going to see what the weather looks like but if its very nice we will shoot to stillwagon (about 20 miles off shore but very easy ride) see some whales. if its only ok we will go to kettle cove or mysery island maybe up to mad fish. should be fun.
i know we will have boats from my buddys 21 formula 20 4 wins, to my 26 mate some other 25 baja's to my buddys 38 fountain triple CC and my other buddys 38 fountain express cruzer. there will be one of everything and should be a great time!!! hope for no rain or wind.

If my 21' enchanter can handle it im in for sure. Are jetskiis aloud to. I have a aquatrax with the macboost kit and my buddy does to. So i might be able to round up another 2 more people. Let me know.

Thanks Jay

slight change of plans for this weekend.
the blessing of the fleet is this weekend so right now weather pending we will probably head to see some greesy pole. if you have never seen this, its way to much fun!!!
i will probably head to wingersheek beach on saturday am, hang there for a while then about 3:30 shove off and go to the harbor. if the water is calm i will go around the outside, if its not great i will stick to the river ride.
the pole starts at 4:45 probably be about an hour then i will probably head back to mysery island and maybe fire up my grill and hang there till later that night.
i have myself and 3 other buddys going with me. boat count will be a little low as one of my buddys blew his motor last week, the other one has a messed up out drive and the other one has the same.
hope they can get them fixed in time, but the boat count is down.
thinking there will be about 5-10 boats ranging from my buddy 21 liberator up to my other buddys 38 fountain. so anything any one is welcome.
if you dump in near my marina i would be happy to help out in any way. you can follow me out and do the ride. its about 15 miles if we do the river and about 35 miles outside. takes the same time tho because out and around we go fast.
if your worried about the water then dump in at glouchester high school ramp and meet from there.
i will see if i can get a chart drawn up of everything and anyone is welcome.
if some guys want to run the river and some want to go outside i could lead the guys going outside and the river is very self explanitory. (stay between reds and greens. lol) out side is rocks and stuff if you dont know where you are going.
feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
i will draw up something for times and meeting places and get it rocking!!!
ps, for those without grills and what not if you want to bring grill food, i will cook it up on my grill no problem!!!

Connecticut River

There were 4 Checkmates Sunday at the head of Gildsersleeve Island on the Connecticut River and I ran into at least 3 more cruising to the mouth of the river in Old Saybrook!!! It seems it will be a good year for Mates on the Connecticut River!!!

yea, sweet boat you got man!!! very cool.
we ended up hooking up with a few more guys about 30 min after you left. stayed till about 10 pm. lol

this weekend should be pretty crazy out there!! head out saturday am and come home monday afternoon.

ps, my buddy with the graddy and i went fishing yesterday.
hooked up with a tuna on striper gear. at about 7.15, ended up snapping the line at about 11.40 pm, he took us out about 8 miles from where we hooked him. it was crazy, cant feel my arms today. we saw him crest a few times about 50 feet from the boat but we just couldnt get him in. looked to be a good 5 foot long fish and thats not with the head and tail!!!
we went out for stiper. we kept one.
he was 42"

here is me when we got back. picking him up was not easy with my noodle arms after fighting that tuna

we had 3 mates out last weekend. good stuff. along with a pantera, a 33 outlaw and a pile of the cruzer boats. good stuff.
cant wait till my buddy gets his 30 mate back together.
