Any one else have a V-mate 1?

How do you like your V-Mate I? A local marina has one for sale with no motor & I thought it would make a good river boat. It is on EBAY now & needs some tlc. What motor is on yours & how fast is she?
 
I'm pretty sure he (SrA.) sold the boat at the end of last year to someone from out of state. I'm not sure if he's ever on here or not.
