Maybe... but imo, the only thing better than one Checkmate is a bunch of em- so thats why I voted for the group pics. It might break the bank if Doug has to send hats out to all the winners, though..

group shot rules

I'd like to add: why not the group shot, heck, some of the
boats in the nominations have been botm 14 times or so it
seems!! Nice boats no doubt but come on man let's see
something different. I remember being away from the site
for awhile and the botm when I left was botm again when
I got back, just a slightly different picture..wtf.. so I am in
favor of variety - nothing personal to anyone, just my 0.02

Group shots are fine if you're voting for "pictures" but then it should be Pic of the Month. You're not voting for anyone's personal boat and I thought that's what the contest was for.
