Baja Cobra

I would love to have it, but it is too complete, doesn't need anything....LOL
I am wonderin if some of their race boats were red white n blue
I may call him in a few days to see how much he actually wants for it.

Too complete is right, originally it only had two seats. Those back bassin seats would have to come out. She was a FJ racer.

I almost had that boat a couple of times.

v161

I had what i thought was a checkmate v-161. I sold it to a collector in MI who told me it was a Cobra. It was originally all white with some orange racing stripes, an automotive-looking hood scoop on the deck (Molded into the deck from factory) and a 5" wide pad on the bottom. I have a picture of it somewhere, so i'll have to dig it up.

cobra

Cobra also made boats from the MX-14 mold, but again with slightly different decks.

It may have been a v-mate........I cant remember

I would greatly appreciate pic of it!!
Tryin to find any early history of anything Baja is gettin tough
