Bimini Tops for Checkmate?

Not sure if this is the right Forum for this post, but I was wondering if anyone was making Bimini Tops for Checkmate's? Is this something Checkmate will be offering, or is there a reputable aftermarket shop that could or is supplying a decent Bimini for these boats? Any input or info would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
That's funny cpr-7, I posted the same thing here! So far Overtons has been the best that I can find. If you measure your boat out, you can 'build' a bimini top on Overtons and a few other web sites for your hull.
 
Hey JW, where are you located in MI? I was born and raised in Niles, spent a lot of time all over SW MI.
 
I've been in the Vicksburg/Schoolcraft/Portage area most of my life. Had a few years in So. Cal. in the military and a couple years up in Lansing.

Overtons is giving $0.08 shipping on any order above $75 so I ordered from them today.

Item #29795. Sunbrella 3-bow Bimini Top, 6' long, 73"-78" wide, 46"-40" high. Red fabric. In stock according to Overtons. Should be here in 3-6 days.

JW, very familiar with that whole area. Which Lake do you spend your time on?

Also, please keep us informed on how that Bimini works out for you. I sure wish Checkmate would add them as an option right from the factory, as they seem to be exploding in popularity with boaters.

I mostly boat on Barton Lake south of town. And I'll be adding to the Bimini Top mod thread I have started when I get things going. Or maybe I'll start a new thread, dont know yet.
