Black Boats..

Here's what I did, made a bow blanket. it was fitted, it would go around the bow rail and velcro back to its self. It expanded living area, the ladies didn't chase their towel around, and kept the deck out of the sun.

Then again, the girls didn't mind chasing their towels

(This was just an excuse to dig deep in my photobucket account)

Had to dig a little too. ;)

I'd like to cut it a little lower still but as it sits I can just about stand up under it. Just a $125 eBay one but I've run it up to 35 or 40 no problem. Remove two thumb screws and you'd never even know it was there from outside the boat.

Looks good, with a bimini, you dont have to wet the carpet. I like how its mounted inside the windshield, giving me ideas for the pulse.

I lost the cover for mine while towing home on Sunday from the harbor trip. Pi$$ed at not noticing it before it was lost, but $40 to replace.

I also want to cut mine down this season - I left it at the original height and it's too high.

My black flake Predictor with red and silver accents (similar to the color scheme JW posted earlier) would burn your arm if you laid it on the gunnel without a towel or splashing a little water on it first. Black boats in the south are pretty brutal to the touch, but they always look sharp. Like most things, there's a compromise between form and function.
