Looking for a good boat cover without blowing alot of dough.
I have a 1983 Checkmate Exciter(closed bow) with a I/O(350) in it.
The cover should be trailable cus that's how the last one tore(started flappen, then to pieces).
I know you get what you pay for but what are you guys using? and where did you find it?

By the way. I'll be on Silver Lake near Traverse City for this week of R&R.:surf:

Thanks,
Frank

Trailerable Boat Cover

I got mine at boatcoversdirect.com, I wish I could tell you it was inexpensive AND good but I can just say it is a good trailerable cover. Mine was almost $400 if I remember correctly, I just went to the site and selected Checkmate & Exciter and they look like $200-300 for your boat. My experience with them was that they provided a good cover and good communication on the order and shipping. My cover fits very well and it has a great strapping system to secure the boat to the trailer frame in numerous locations to secure it during road travel.

Good luck.

Found a cover on Ebay it's a Carver brand got it for 115 bucks new, but out of the box. I'll tell you it's a quality cover it fit my boat perfectly all the way down the sides and a really heavy ploy. It's even made in the U.S.A., very happy with the cover.
Frank
