It was a long journey to get my new Checkmate, but WELL WORTH IT!!! Boat came from northern Minnesota all the way down to Sunny Florida. My brother was swell enough to drag it to louisville for me and I took it from there...

Boat is an '06 Pulsare 2100 BR w/300 Yami HPDI. Thing ran GOOOOD. Think the prop is a bit small @ 25P... Got up to 74 today without much effort, but I couldn't keep it balanced and it would start to walk on me. Being my first time out I got out of it pretty quickly...

Without further adooo, some pics from my Maiden Voyage! AWESOME!!!

About time that boat sold, I couldn't believe that it took this long for it to sell for the deal that it was. It is a great looking Mate. Enjoy:thumb:

:sssh: Don't tell anyone what I paid for it so I can sell it for the same in 4 yrs!!

Thanks! I wanted your Red Checkmate when you had it up f/s but it sold too fast. Looks like it worked out though. :D

Back out on the water tomorrow, supposed to be ~70ish...

Who's got a 29P prop I can borrow?

Here's a few pics from the journey....

My brother got it in MN and 3" 3M painters taped the whole thing. Seems to have done a good job saving it from rocks/debris on the 1800 miles south.

I wanted to get that boat but my wife said no more boats. She just doesn't understand that I need 1 boat for the river and 1 for the lakes. I have the river fun boat taken care of just not fast enough yet. Atleast you get to use your boat during the winter. It snowing to beat hell here right now. 3m's stock must have gone up just after he left Mn.

Oh yeah, got everything cleaned up pretty good. Gave her a good salt water bath today and then took it to the car wash, plus the hose at home! The taping took him like 2 hours... laying on the freezing gound:rof: I had the beer waiting for him in Louisville though! I think untaping it was worse though. That crap did not want to come off!
