This is just a thought. Its set up and all, but I honestly don't think the design is all that great. The images seem a bit small on the shirts, but I think if I upgraded to the premium services, I could change that. If I got enough support with this, I'd upgrade and pay the costs. You can go ahead and order this stuff, and the profits would go to this site. Chris, I hope you don't mind that I do this, I didn't nesicarily ask. If it is a problem, please tell me right away so I can remove it completly! So, people, how many of you would HONESTLY order this stuff? All money raised would go directly to checkmate-boats.com and keeping it running!

Zo6, good work, but wrong logo. It needs to be different. May be just the words and no back ground.

Z, you're a creative little devil! Thanks for the effort!

I know about cafeshops as I looked into doing this very thing, but I just honestly haven't had the time to get around to looking seriously at it. The hold up was that I wanted to make an awesome logo that I could put on the stuff before I tried it.

Since the very beginning I've received a lot of generous offers from people (which is much appreciated!) wanting to help out the site. I thought this might be a way for them to get a little something and help out if they wish. The idea being that for 20 bucks you get an overpriced shirt, but a few bucks go to help with the server costs.

I would be interested in what everyone thinks? Is this something that you would like? Would a slightly overpriced shirt, hat or whatever be kinda cool?

You can all be honest!

I've really tried to avoid getting into having special stuff like avatars or banners in your sig line etc. for people that helped financially in some way, because I want everyone to feel equal. And to me I thought this practice might start to segregate people.

Thoughts?

What would you like to see on shirts and stuff? I'm taking customer orders here (sorta yet the store is not open yet.) Chris, can you send me just the text off the top??????? Just the checkmate-boats.com and I'll see what I can do. This site makes anything imaginable, from sweaters to thongs, to clocks to backpacks!!!!!!!

If you came up with an awesome logo to put on shirts, I'd be glad to create the account, pay for the monthly costs, or anything else that needs attending. The profits again would go to the site...

Like I said, if there is a logo that reads checkmate-boats or what ever it will be I can get the window stickers done. Can get them in color also. I will need the size before I can et a price.

i'll spring for a couple over priced shirts when they become available, and support this site in any way I can. Since I started looking at a Starflite here in Jersey Kip Combs offered me some great info on what to look for and this web-site has also been an invalueable source of info. So THANKS, and I'm in Claude Mabes
