Checkmate event

Would anyone be interested in a checkmate get together on lake koshkonong in southern wi.I asked some people I know that own a bar there if the would mind hosting it and they thought it would be great.Just trying to get a feel if any of the board members would be interested in a weakend of checkmate fun.It's a big lake and they have a hot boat weakend there every year.
post what you guy's think about it.

If its done in the 2nd week of July thats cool. I will be in the area during that time.

Sounds like a good weakend to me gus.I'll talk to them about the date.The best launch on the lake is right off I-90 and can be seen from the highway.I'll get some pics and if there is enough interest we'll have us an event.

If theres not we'll have a get together.LOL

Possibly interested, what's the water like on the lake? Only got a 218, perfer smooth water. How far is this from Rockford? I'm just south of the Quad City area and I believe we're about 2 hours from Rockford. What's in the area, do you drop anchor or beach? Pictures would be great. Would there be a Hotel close to the Ramp and Bar you mentioned? I may possibly be able to get a couple of more Checkmate guys up that aren't part of the board. Justin

The lake is pretty smooth and it,s about 30 min north of rockford depending how you drive.I,m getting info on the hotels ther and there is alot of camp grounds.And you can anchore or beach.I'll post pics as soon as the ice breaks up.
