Just scratched the impellor off the list. What a pain in the arse that job is. It took me less than an hour to do both my Volvo impellors on the Doral, with it in the water. I was up til 3 am doing my 496 HOe.

They say a blind monkey could change the impellor on a Volvo. I say you have to be a very talented blind monkey to change one on a Merc in a CM.

Not sure if i'm gona make it....

I haven't desided for sure but i'm leaning towards not making the 6 + hour trip down guys. I had a group of boats that were supposed to run down with me and they all bailed. Even a few people that were supposed to come down in boat with me are bailing for one reason or another......haven't made my mind up yet. Been on water last 5 weekends.....think i just need a break. Probably won't deside til Friday though..... : )

I have to agree with everyone,if they can travel from near and far you need to come too.We have not ask for any factory support on this but wouldn't it be good for Checkmate to show support for the people who made Checkmate CHECKMATE! Sorry about the rant ,jmo.

Safe travels Brad, I'm no capt this weekend but like I said early maybe after a early dinner on thurs I can talk someone up to lee's for an after dinner drink at one of only a few establishments on the water! Or you might just find yourself for a few beers around the Ole' campfire.(just not after dark there is a reason they don't want the house boats moving after dusk.)
