CHECKMATE OWNER'S RALLY 2010

August 14th is the Guiness tie-up event I believe. If you want to participate in that, register online somewhere. I most likely will be there too...
 
Ya know Barry, I heard that also. I also heard its going to get very drunk out that night!!! Hopefully the boat starts and yall dont have to drink all that beer by yourself's before the ice melts!!!

I got an urgent message from someone who had that happen to them.Luckily he got all the beer drank!!!!!!!!!!!:cheers:
 
Don't rule me out Aug 14th, I decided to purchase a manual and tear in to the outboard and clean out the water passages myself.Forget about that camping B.S. its just to damn hot up on that hill! If I make it,I'll be slumming it on the boat all weekend. Its once in and once out for 5 bucks! Don't have my exact work schedule in front of me but I know I'm off every weekend in August.

Now its off to e-bay motors to get that used hi-performance manual for $45 shipped asap! Jeff :thumb:

hey Brian, I don't remember seeing you drink any beers, missed
you at the Thurs night tie up (handful of us) and the Fri night
tie up (another handful of us) and the Saturday raft off in
party cove (all of us but u and nick) !! If I hadn't seen you for that
hour or two on the lake Friday I wouldn't have believed you were there lol..
Is mean green ready yet?
 
LOL, hell John you just started a bit earlier than me. I started while setting up camp and even had a few of yours when we went out on your boat. Then had a couple of barrys when we were out on the green boat. All and all I only drink during the rare time that I clean my nasty boat ;). I will say I only drank 1/3 of what I thought I was going to. I think the boat problems and also the back pain kept that from happening.

Mean green is sitting in time out:sleep:.
Parts came in for the trailer brakes today. Seems "tie down engineering" had a known problem with the brackets and caliper bolts backing out but sold the kits anyway. I had to buy 2 new brackets and 4 caliper bolts that are fine thread instead of course thread.

Never scared here, who needs a boat I have a life jacket and a supercharged trolling motor strapped to a cooler. The more I drink the faster I go.

Thats right I will be rolling in on that friday maybe Doug will bring a Beckmate out with Dean on his lap. Or maybe TBM will ride with Dick Holiday or if all else fails Kip might no show again.

All jokes aside, we have a good crowd coming.This would be a great chance for everyone that wanted to go to the rally to attend the "mini rally" and have a great time.Big Red will be thier and a good time will be had by all who attend! Lets make this happen once again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:popcorn:
 
Its starting to look like I'll be there.. Echo can't make it, but I talked to Brian and he's up for it.
