CHECKMATE OWNER'S RALLY 2010

Received my manual in the mail,Looks as easy to fix as I thought,Now just to get off my duff, Down a few Red Bulls and correct what is wrong!!!!!!!
 
I posted that there will be another gathering on the 14th over on OSO under the Checkmate owners rally thread.

Whats with the the raft up deal that weekend? Anyone from here planning on participating?

I don't know if I'm into that... depends on what the resto of the group wants to do- I trust you guys to be tied to my boat.. just don't know about everyone else!
 
I don't think any of us will participate in the record raft up. It looks like we will be closer to the dam . I'm like you, i like to know who i'm tied up with!
 
Looks like Jamisyn and I will be coming down, we had a great time at the "original" rally! I'm in the midst of testing props now after learning I had too much slip in the prop I was running...20+%. Nick, too bad Echo can't make it...maybe next time!

Yeah, she's bummed about it- her work sched sucks.
I told her that Brian and I should round up a couple of women to ride around with us- you know, just to offset the ugly in the Superboat:D


I'm thinking about buying a 5000btu window shaker to cool the cabin in the boat... all I'd have to do is rent a dock with shorepower.:sssh: We've been debating about somthing like that for a while.. need to lookup where the docks are at Conley. Where is everyone going to dock overnight, or the meeting spot? Conley?
 
Hell yeah! Thats awesome.

I figured I'd throw it down in the floor infront of the cabin doors and put a drain pan underneath it to catch the condensate.. or roll the carpet up and let it go to the bilge.
 
The raft off will be near scull mountain around the bend from Conley Bottom where many of us hung-out during the first bi-annual rally. This means that Conley's ramp and business in general will most likely be very busy. Go to lakecumberland.com for the link to the event.

Unfortunately, my boys have wrestling camp that weekend so I will not make it. I am, however, going down tomorrow and will attempt to drag my convincor out to a cove with my Doral for about 4 days. I do have plenty of practice towing dogschool's cm around.

Never scared here, who needs a boat I have a life jacket and a supercharged trolling motor strapped to a cooler. The more I drink the faster I go.



Thats right I will be rolling in on that friday maybe Doug will bring a Beckmate out with Dean on his lap. Or maybe TBM will ride with Dick Holiday or if all else fails Kip might no show again.

i might be back down if i get the carb back together and it all works right now cant stand being slow lol
 
alright...I am repowered and back on the water this weekend,
pick up my boat from kunkels in the morning - had them build
me a 502 - heard it runs nice! can't wait to find out for myself!!
plan to spend saturday at cesar's creek and do just that!:D

so it looks like I am good to go for the 14th:thumb:
 
Congrats D-school! Post some pixs of your new power when you get a chance. How much HP?????

sounds good they do good work
i might be out there doing some testing myself on saturday
let me know how it works out and what prop are you going to be running, if you want you can give mine a try
