CHECKMATE OWNERS RALLY 2012

Brian, sound like a great weekend. I think the old lady and i will stay at our house Friday and meet you all at Burnside sat morning. We will probably stay on the boat at Grider sat if that is where everyone is staying? I pumped to go down the lake with all the mates!!!!!!!!!!!

I could throw in on a houseboat, I wouldn't need a rack either. I prefer to sleep in the flite. Its lights out when I say lights out under there!
2 yrs ago we used turtle creek (which is over by grinder anyway). With them being a smaller outfit, they worked with us on the price. $800 for 4 nites / 7 = about 120 per plus about 25 per for fuel. Not bad at all. Great fun was had by all!

My wife and I should have no problems going again this year. I'll need to talk to her again to see if she wants to do the houseboat thing.

Can't wait until July!

I would be up for a houseboat as well. We would just have to bring it into the dock Sat night so no one is stuck on shore for whoever plans on staying onboard. Last thing we need is a BWI or an accident.

I'm trying to figure out a way to come up with some extra $$$$ to join in the festivities. Sounds like the wife doesn't have alot of interest so if I can make it will be flying solo.:thumb: Would love to come and meet a few of you guys.

When you figure out a way to get some extra cash let me know how, been trying to figure that out too, LOL.

I really want to come for this, I would be solo as well.

How far from where we are starting is Harmon Creek? Ive seen videos, hear the tall tales, I have to see what this place is all about.

Rooms & Slips at Grider

To all who plan on making it to the rally in July if any plan on staying at Grider I would make your reservations by end of May at the latest. And for any that plan on getting a covered slip let me know how many nights and you boat's length and I can reserve a block of slips that are in the same general area. PM me with your details by June 15 if you will be wanting a slip.

and he's back, with a nasty perverted signature:sleep:

Hey YF sent me that, I only felt it would be nice to show my appreciation for his gift.
BTW, how are things with you ? Sorry to hear you wont be making it for this years rally. I promise we will dedicate a moment of silence to all those who couldnt be in attendance. You will be missed !!! :bigthumb:
