Checkmate Regatta/Poker Run In Ohio

ok, good.
when i was out that way last year for x-mas in july at put in bay on my buddies 33 outlaw, they said there were 4 and 5 footers, and dont think my 23 could handle that.

We are going to keep the majority of the poker run in the bay. Only one leg may be run in the lake, but there will be an alternate route if necessary. We are trying to accommodate all sizes of boats so that all Checkmaters may participate in and enjoy this event. (Reminder: please e-mail us with your name and address if you interested in receiving a packet. Packets are being assembled as we speak.) Keep July 16th open for a fun-filled weekend.

Just an update regarding the Checkmate Poker Run/Regatta. . .we've secured the date of July 16, 2005 with Lyman Harbor. We will be sending out the information packets by the end of this week. The packets will include a registration form, information sheet, list of local hotels, and directions to Lyman Harbor and a loading ramp. If you are interested in receiving a packet, please get your e-mails with your name and address to us as soon as possible (TracyMlls@cs.com or JNMRCLN@aol.com). If you have already e-mailed us, you do not need to e-mail us again. Thanks Checkmaters!

this sounds like a good time. i would love to get some photos of the boat with cedar point in the backround. i get a season pass every year. a couple years back i went 14 times. i have always wanted to boat the waters around the park.

Do go for the rides or to check out the ladies all daylong.(be truthful) Did you ever catch the ferry over to put-in-bay for the day or stay overnite. Now theres an adult theme park.

If you enjoy total Self-Indulgences and share a hedonistic view of life. Then Only you will understand the draw of the Island.Try the Roundhouse Bar from noon to 4 pm.on any givin summer day.Or any of the several hotel pool parties going on.Walk the piers and be invited on to any size party.Take a golf cart to 1 of a few wineries and try some samples. OH YEAH! don't forget the lobster biscue at the Boardwalk or traveling up the Perry momument for a view.(all that touristy crap stuff) too.

An update regarding the poker run/regatta: we have completed putting the packets together and will be shipping those out by the first of next week. Also, we are looking for additional sponsers to help keep costs low. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in being a sponsor or a participant in the Checkmate Poker Run/Regatta, please e-mail the name and address to TracyMlls@cs.com or JNMRCLN@aol.com.

Update on the Checkmate Poker Run/Regatta. . .First round of packets are going to be sent out tomorrow! Thanks to all of you who have already requested packets. There is still room for more boats.
