**Checkmate Resumes Production**

Good news to All !!!
There will be a press release tomorrow, Tuesday 7-16-13 in which Joe from Hustler will announce the purchase of Checkmate.
Checkmates will continue to be manufactured in Bucyrus, OH facility, and now will be going through a complete plant cleaning and prepping all molds to start production on August 5th 2013.
The website will also be revamped to showcase both Checkmate & Hustler product lines.

I'm getting my order ready for Mistress IV !!!!!:surf:

I'm hoping that the term 'Checkmate' will take on a familiar tone as Mr. Randy has to deal with ' he who must not be named', or how about 'you know who'...

This is great news. Hope it all works out. As far as Randy, the way I understand the law if you buy a business you by everything including the debt. So since Hustler bought Checkmate, Randy should get his motas or the coin.

I was trying to do that months ago and I was getting BLASTED on this forum for doing it....Oh well, the truth is out...

Very happy to hear the name will continue and I'm happy to hear Hustler is going to bring it back, hopefully without Doug!!
 
Great news! Long live Checkmate, Hustler, and the continually underlying need for speed! I cant wait to see some advancements instead of going backwards with decade old baja hull remakes. Lets see some fresh running surface designs and improvements.

LOL, was not official until Friday. Lots of stuff can happen to prevent the transaction from going through until papers are signed. Sounds like there's a lot of good things that are planned to happen :banana:

As far as I'm concerned, IT'S ALL GOOD

Hustler makes awesome performance boats --- Iv'e worked on them / Iv'e piloted them ---- This may just be the perfect merger between two great performace boat builders.

Looks like I'll be adding some Hustlers to my video presentations ---- oh ya, they sure are purdy :thumb:
