Checkmate Reunion at Cincinnati?

Is anyone interested in a Checkmate Reunion on the Ohio River near Cincinnati for 2008? Pleasant Valley Marine is interested in sponsoring a get together. Ideas?
 
sounds like a better place for the smaller boats than Sandusky Bay was

How about it Kip? would Checkmate be there?
 
Perhaps Pleasant Valley would like to become a supporting vendor on our site first? ;)
 
I know that my checkmate and two or three of my friends here in Cincinnati who own checkmates would attend! Though I'd still want to do the Poker Run
on Lake Erie annually - that was a great time!:thumb:
 
JUST TALKED TO ONE OF MY BUDDIES,WE HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE A WEEKEND OFF FROM LAKE ERIE AND COME TO CINNCI WITH OUR PREDICTORS WERE NOT FAR AWAY WE LIVE WHERE ALL YOUR BOATS WERE BORN,LOOKING FOWARD TO SEEING ALL YOU MATERS,HOPE ITS GONNA A BE A GOOD TURN OUT,WHERE EVER THERES A CHECKMATE ITS ALWAYS A GOOD TURN OUT,SEE YOU SOON
 
seems to be a fair amount of interest in doing a cincy river run -
if Gilly doesn't follow up then maybe we'll have to organize one
without him - I probably have enough connections to make
something cool happen for such a river event - lets see if this
Gilly chimes back in - if not and if there seems to be enough
interest for it then I will start putting some feelers out there with
some of the marinas etc on the river - I have a friend that is close
with a few of them so the possibilties are there - gimme some
feedback.:poke:

River, good water, nice beaches, etc.

I happened to meet Gilly at the boat show in Cincinnati on
Saturday and he says he is still motivated to get this event
on the calendar and that he will chime in soon on this thread
with more info and to seek a little input from us members, so
keep an eye out for his next post and we'll go from there.
