"Wanted" Checkmate Trim Tabs

Hard to find!

I've been scouring the interwebs forever.

"Genuine" Checkmate tabs have to be the most sought after part out there. Giving this thread a bump in case any fellow members have any leader or perhaps one of you might be willing to part with their tabs.

I keep searching!

Another bump!!

So I pretty much have given up all hope on finding a genuine set.

HOWEVER.....:)

If any of you have them and want to part with them PM me. I will make a generous offer which you can always refuse.

Every time I see an old junk mate for sale I always look for the tabs. There worth more then the boats there usally on.

West Coast

That's my big problem. If I lived in MI, OH, NY, or any state in between I would seriously be road-tripping to every old boatyard to try to pull the tabs off of some old scow 'mate. I live on the northwest corner of the country and it is no man's land for Checkmates. Plenty of Jolly Rogers, Sidewinders, Jetsters, and Glastrons

With our first baby on the way I've thrown out the idea of flying to the area so please be my proxy if you find two sets somewhere :).

Thread Bump!!!

Sending out an SOS!!!

If anyone has a set they want to sell let me know.

I've engaged several sellers on Craigslist who are selling boats that have the genuine trim tabs on there and these are the outcomes:

*They've already sold the tabs
*Unwilling or don't have the time/tools to remove them from the boat and ship
*Only willing to sell the entire boat as is

Thanks as always! The search goes on!

I haven't seen any but if you find them within a couple hours of Cincinnati just let me know and I'll pick them up and ship them to you.
