Checkmates NEW 40 footer

I know its hard for you to understand the laws of physics. But I will try to explain. You take one big block boat and times it by two.

2 engines
2 outdrives
2 throttles
2 shift cables
2 ton pull rig
2 bill folds full of cash to fill the twice the size fuel tank

and oh yah the best part 4 exhaust pipes with a lot of jack johnson racket to piss every tree huggin fairy off.
GOOD ONE !!!;) :bigthumb:

It's all paint boys!!! Courtesy of the one and only Mitcher T!!! No worries on the rub rail, stainless insert going in. No intentions of whacking the dock though, should have plenty of crew, as well as experience in this size boat....If you think it looks good in pictures, they do it no justice!!! You have to see it in person!!! The rigging will be spectacular, no worries there.....
Glad to see you had it painted in are neck of the woods by mr T, but .............seriously who is doing the rigging and what kind of speeds to you expect with 700's ( curious ) and what is the dry weight of the boat at the moment before rigging . Thank you .

Thats some of the rigging i was referring to. Wasn't sure if the factory guys had the know how with all the electronics and such that don't normaly get used in checkmates. I figured a boat of this size with all the technology that will be used inside and out that maybe it would be rigged by someone who has more expeirence with large boats.

Yeah, I agree... my favorite quote so far: "they have alot of drama over there"

That's a beautiful looking boat.

I'm sure it will be stunning when it's finished up. :thumb:

onthehammer already posted the pics, in the thread is CM building a bigger boat. Just like on all the other forums that are posting boatmans miss understanding. :thumb: If the clowns would take the time to read are entire thread they would just pull out what onthehammer posted. Because you will see threw reading that he is the only one that knows 100% of whats going on.

I don't think there is a lot of "drama" here.

This is the home to people who love Checkmates and people here are VERY passionate about the brand. What's the alternative to passion? Indifference? It's better that people care isn't it?

I'm also a member on many other forums, including GM Inside News, as well as many others and I can tell you that our site isn't much different than most.

On GM Inside, when GM release a new car or makes a change, some people love it, some people don't - people express their feelings which run the full gamut of opinion.

So to me at least, the expectation of some that every thing Checkmate does should be met with universal acceptance is simply unrealistic.

As the old saying goes, you can't please everyone all the time. ;)

I think its funny, I just read the posts on the other site and even though the handles are different you can tell by their writing who it is from over here. Seems like all the same bad info went around.

Big Red,

Now that's funny stuff right there!! I am not sure I am even at 100% on this, lmao. Tiring some days but will be so worth it!!

Its funny reading every forum, they all qoute boatmans comments, nobody took the time to read the entire thread to figure out anything. Apach's are my all time favorite boats and this recreation turned out awesome so far.

I would of bet it was going to be all white with some lame grafics, man was I surprised thats just what Checkmate needed.

The paint is sick. I always like to see the red, white and blue on things that represent the best country in the World. Muscle Cars, Boats, Bikinis... You know what I mean.

This thread got interesting in a few spots, but in the end, a great Checkmate was born. I don't care who built the original mold, Checkmate Power Boats should be proud of what they have done on this Project.

I can assure you that there is still alot of untold stories, but all of my imfo came straight from the front office, if you have doubt, call them yourself!
