Chesapeake Bash 2013 - Chester River - June 7,8,9,10

A few of us will we renting a house on the East Fork of Langford Creek, which is off the Chester river. There is a pier and deep water at the house. (6' MLT) This will be considered home base and the rendezvous point for all runs.

All are welcome to come and stay, but contributions towards the rental house are requested if you plan to sleep there. Please send me a PM if you intend to stay at the house so we can confirm availability.

I will be heading down sometime Friday Mid-morning to check into the house, so arrivals should begin in the afternoon. We will plan a couple group runs for lunch and drinks in either Chestertown or Kent Narrows.

Stay tuned for info on shirts for this years event...

Looking forward to a great weekend with great people:cheers:

HMMM the "East Fork of Langford Creek" wasnt that a Stephen King novel?. Hope to see you guys there.

Got to give to you EastCoast Guys, Brought Up, Worked It and Made It Happen. I'm impressed! Just put in for a five dayer, Thursday- Monday. So put me for one (at this time) at the glass house (I like the house, I like its location). I'm actually excited, should be a good time.

Now I just need file some good ole' Mid-West Rock-N-Roll for myself, Don't want to get stuck listening to Bon-Jovi and The Boss all weekend! :p

Ram- you can pm if and when you need to about throwing in some bones in later. I plan to be in early Friday Morning. Jeff

Looks like we're going to have a good turn out this year:cheers:

The more the merrier. The house sleeps 12 in beds. There are in door hammocks, couches, floor space and lots of yard for those not careing where they crash. Bring a tent, sleeping bag or nothing theres room for all.

Boats arn't a must, just a need for a good time.
I'm counting 9 boats as of now so You'll find a ride on one.

Ill have a boat just not sure it will be my mate. Depends on how much i get done between now in then on other projects as it might be apart by then! ;) If thats the case we will just bring my brothers formula down! and im sure the sail boat for a place to sleep! :rof:

Here are a couple online charts for a location of the house (I took a picture with my cell since they won't let you copy them) I use Geogarage.com for online charts. If you go to the site, click "Charts & routes" and zoom from there. You can click over on the right "full screen" to make it a little easier to see and use the slide bar on the right for an overlay between charts and satellite images.

The house is marked with the Flag

we'll work the parking out, even if we need to lift and stack the smaller trailers:bigthumb:

Lets move onto Lunch/Bar runs (CRABS AND BEER:cheers:). A few places I found within short running distance. If the weather is good, we could run to Rock Hall too.
