Only 4 work days left for me!
I know Teamhart2 is out and Jln is a maybe. Do we have any more or less coming? I'm going shopping friday morning and just trying to get a head count.

We're still on. Can't wait!
Spent a few hours today washing and waxing the boat and doing a few odd jobs.

Do we know yet what we're planning to do Saturday and for food that evening? Or are we waiting till we are all together?

I guess we're definitely cooking at the house Friday night, but wasn't sure if that was Saturday evening also - given the probable choice of food options on the water within a boat ride.

Me missus is going to bake a few loaves of Irish Soda bread (2 brown loaves, 2 raisin loaves) and a cake or two.
We'll also have a few bags of spuds, and some contributions to a cooked breakfast. Otherwise we will have the extra stuff we need to feed the kids.
If we need to bring more, let me know.

We expect to be there by 5pm Friday until early afternoon Sunday.

Keith - can you PM me the address pls?

I'm headin down Friday afternoon. Looking forward to it. I'm trying to work out some good eats for Friday night, but I'll need the Mrs. Jetmates help preparing it. I'll keep y'all posted as we get little closer.

Now that I know we won't be going hungry, my attention has turned to the prospect of rain and thunderstorms on Friday day and night.
Looks like I will have to include the cover and tarp at this stage (although Friday is a long way off in weather terms!).

The boat is ready to roll. Washed, buffed and waxed yesterday. I will be down in the area earlier on Friday. We are going to hang around Chestertown, get some lunch and kill some time until 5pm. If anyone wants to meet up, shoot me a PM.

We also went and did a little shopping yesterday. 10 dozen eggs, 6 lbs bacon, Pancake mix, Green peppers, Onions, Potatoes, 1 Gallon OJ, 2 Gallons Cranberry juice, Watermelon, Grapes and a few other things. Steph is also going to whip up some of her homemade caesar dressing.

There's a chance I won't be able to attend but if I do it's probably gonna be solo and shortened because of
mother in law dying 2 days ago. Wife just doesn't want to go but wants me to go anyway so I think I'm gonna
pick one overnight.
What should I bring down ?

Sim - just bring yourself buddy. You have a seat in our boat all day every day.

If you like, we can pick you up Friday afternoon on the way and drop back on Sunday afternoon, although sounds like you're only planning 1 night at this stage.
Think about it and let me know.

I got the boat loaded up and ready to go! We will be down sometime Friday afternoon it looks like! At this point there will be 2.5 adults and a 5 year old in my boat. some will sleep in a tent and some on the boat! We can bring whatever but im not much of a cook and not much would like the 15 hour ride total to get there. Ill make sure that we have enough to cover tho! anything else i should bring?? and also if the weather is crappy is there still enough room if i town down or should i plan i finding a ramp close buy to leave the truck and trailer?

Also just over 3 work days left to go!!!

Does that mean your not going down by boat?

Im planing on it still! but if its storming im not sure it would be the greatest idea to... Dont really want to trailer down at all as that takes the fun out of the drive but dont want to put my niece in harms way ether!

Theres a chance of scattered storms friday. Which means we will probaly get an afternoon storm and they dont normally last long. I'm watching closely and waiting till it gets closer to plan a time for me to roll on down the river. Dont want to get caught in the rain, that stuff stings.
