thats right chine walk can pi$$ off! took the boat out today, this is the third time out with the (new to me 21 pulsare...badbk's old boat)and i got threw the dreaded chine walk! 71.5 on gps! no more throttle left but more trim to go,mild chop,88 temp lots of humidity.3/4 tank of fuel, cooler full, two onboard. so on smoother water cooler air and much faster!.....chit yeah......p.s this boat is a grin!

thanks pete!

Great to hear! All it takes is seat time. Make sure you dont get too comfortable and stay on top of the wheel. It can bite you in the a$$ when you least expect it.

Guess that means no r/t plane ticket and all the beer I can drink in exchange for drivin lessons :(

I'd have to disagree chine walk will bite ya, one you get the 21' Pulsare up and balanced it drives itself... I could drive Pete's boat @ 75mph with no hands. Blowout on the other hand can get ya if you're not setup right, but that's not until you get in the high 80's+...

Glad you're enjoying the boat Pete, got my ratchet/sockets back today-thanks. The gps mount screw and power cord should be there pretty soon if not by now.

Keep this in the back of your mind too. Most accidents occur when slowing back down. My Mate sits right back down in the water quite nice, Then again, I’ve never driven that hull so I don’t know its characteristics.

on the way back yesterday i ran with a 28-30 ft powerquest twin big blocks,we exchanged the lead more than a few times.meaning i crossed his wake more than once, and other than getting out of the throttle, and back on it the boat never felt out of shape!.... i think the guy driving the powerquest was a little shocked that he got passed lol! more seat time and we will be good to go!
josh your welcome to come up here and really so me how to drive this thing!

thanks pete
