i bought a chopper recently and i was wondering are they suposd to be mounted with a spacer at the rear of the prop like the stock ones do or does the taper of the shaft keep the prop spaced properly?????????

You must use the proper thrust washer that would fit on the taper of the propshaft.!!! Take the part# off the prop and go to your dealer to make sure you get the proper one!!
