Cincinnati Boat show get together

We all started gathering at my house around 4ish and started drinking. Around 5 we all set out to find dinner. After getting the "1 hour to 80minutes" BS, we found fridays that got us in right away. We had a great time talking and meeting a couple new people that came.

From there we stopped by Kroger for our discount tickets and off to the show!

There was a lot of them new checkmates there

Nick also found his replacement for his Superboat

OK the boat show sucked as we expected but it was a reason to get together!
 
From there Doug and his wife (horseplay) and Adam and his girl had to leave. The rest of us came back to the house and finished drinking again!
PBR....yummm, thats gooooood!!!

Looks like you guys had a great time . Our boat show isnt till febuary (Detroit Show) at Cobo Center ... Last year ours sucked But hope its bigger this year . They said that they made it smaller last year due to the economy. We havent had Checkmate at our show in years either ...
 
I've been hearing for years that "Speed Changes You"..might have to find out for myself. :lol:

No way Brian,i made sure that i wouldn't leave any"opportunities" for him.I just didn't know he was sneekin' up on me! lol

dogschool was out and about at a different party - can't make them all..

skeered??lol..as far as I making it to some of these gigs...it is what it is!
 
Boat shows are usally a snore, But we still go! I'll be up at Cobo Hall at least twice in a couple of weeks for the Detroit Show.
I really would of like to of made Sat. for a nice get away. But I had a mandatory class for work on Sat. Looked like a good time!

P.S. I have a 9 day vacation lined up with june 4th sitting right in the middle of it! Anybody have any Ideals on what I should DO! ;)
 
Hey Jeff, whats the deal with user "88 509" he was claiming he was you???

You could go down to norman and drink all of reds beer!!

Jeff the Detroit show is the 12th-20th this year. Would be Nice if Checkmate was there
 
I wanted to thank Brian and the gang for the invite even thou we had to leave before the fun started lookin forward to next time and hopefully Lake Norman PS Nick was'nt that bad but I did'nt get as close to him as LC lol
