AP,

I'm a Checkmate newbie just up the road in PA from you and the family may be making the trip up for the Regatta. If you want to meet up on the way we could start a little Checkmate Convoy :-D As well as provide some support if we run into any kind of trouble enroute.

If not would love to head down and boat with you on the Bay or rivers you run on. Has there ever been any discussion in the past about a Chesapeake Bay Area G2G (get together)?

I'm still making some lists but off the top of my head, CHAIRS.

I've got 2 grills lined up also 2 turkey friers. Gonna have some locally made Bratwurst.

Also got 2 washtubs for the ice, to keep whatever refreshments show up COLD

I'm coming to the Regatta with the new Starliner I bought over near you. We will be staying in Cranberry PA (just off Rt. 76 in PA near the oh/pa border) Thursday night. How far is that from you? My "Secret Squirrel" plan is tell the wife the cookout is on the way. If I plan right we should be able to stop by about Noon and stay for a little while before I have to get her to the hotel and the water park for some "family fun" on Friday. You have room for all the visiting boats right? How far are you from the event? I'm staying at a hotel on Rt. 6 near the laymens.

Thanks for the invite and hopefully see you at your house ;-)

Are "Non" Mates or alien boats allowed??
No plans yet ut I hit the lake fairly often and Bratwurst town is on the way

I by $20. worth of Carles Bratwurst every time through!
It is the best.
I'm just now catching up on your get together and don't know how much if any I'll be able to make (tight on $$) but it might be fun to hit your cook out on the way North for the weekend.
I can crash in the cabin of my baot if I had too much fun

Any boat, any make, heck there may be some cool cars there as well. Carles Bratwurst is on the menu. I have a selection of beverages but bring anything special that you want. And chairs I'm a little short on chairs. No matter how many people show up it should be a great time.

Its about 125-145 to Sharon PA from my house. The event should be less than 45 miles from my place, And I am less than a mile from Checkmate, and about a block or so from the old Checkmate Offshore plant.

If it helps my wife would love someone like your wife to attend, so she could talk to someone about things besides boats. So check out the factory swing on over grab a bite, and say hi. Good Luck

Well, I'll see if i can get lost in Ohio and end up convienently at your cookout (to ask for directions) about noon so we have time to socialize a bit and then head off to the Water Park at Cedar Point for some family fun. That'll keep me in good graces with the wife and daughter

We are planning on doing the factory tour on Fri. morning and then going to your place. You're close to the factory? Will you be doing the tour also? Should be a great time.
