As the vessel idles into the picture in the first part of the video, there is the unmistakable look of the nose high stern low stance of a certain high performance boat that we are famialier with. Couple that with some big black motas hangin off of the stern and the way them guys are leaning forward at speed. I'm thinkin there might be a Checkmate under that toon hull?
 
I saw that video a while back. I like the idea of a fast 'toon but with a stance like that its pretty much useless for anything but going out and beating up other boats. Not much fun sitting on a slant all day.
 
I would have to imagine that a little bit too much trim would end badly at those speeds.....that is a lot of flat deck to catch wind.
