CraigList Ct

What do you guys think of this boat? From the pictures it looks almost too good to be true. I spoke to the guy selling it and he was quite short on knowledge of details and pictures. He also said it is a forced sale to cover a lien (we call that power of sale in Canada) and would be able to give me a notarized receipt for the boat and trailer. I don't think I'd have trouble at the border, but Gov'ts being what they are that could be optimistic thinking.

I'd have to drive almost 500 miles each way to get it and I"d like to be sure I'm not leaving myself open for a large disappointment.

You guys seem to have a vast amount of knowledge and experience with this stuff so I'd like to draw on that to help with the decision.

Any input would be appreciated.
