Dave (rngrdve) and Brian (yellowfiero88) will be heading to my house to pickup Dave's new boat. They will be heading in Friday night 9/21 and leaving Sunday morning 9/23 with the new boat. We will be hitting the River Saturday morning 9/22 for a day on the water.

We could gather somewhere around Burlington Island at 10:30. Once everyone is there, we can head south to Philadelphia and cruise up the Schuylkill River to boat house row and the spillway. From there we can head back north to Tullytown for a nice hangout spot.

Sounds good to me. I'm getting my stuff together right now for our weekend on Sacandaga but I will make sure there's nothing planned for that day.
 
I'll keep the day open. Now let's see what Mother Nature has to say.
And I don't mean Laura.
 
I may be able to. I've got a lot of pokers in the fire right now and I can't commit to anything but I'd love to meet up if possible. Are Enticers welcome? :D

It looks pretty close to me on maps.
 
Ram,Dave, Brian,ATC,Knarl,Sim,Drop, and Keith all in one spot simultaneously. I have a picture in my mind of several police departments, the National Gaurd, and possibly the Coast Guard and US Navy trying desperatly to apprehend the riotus group in vain, finding only scorched earth, steam and spray in thier wake...

this i a nice ramp and right off of 95. it is about 1hr30 mins from your house i think.

It would be nice to catch up again before the end of the season... Enticers are always welcome. Maybe Kris can get the new owner of his old one to make the trip as well:bigthumb:

I will do my best. I planned on it last time, but I ended up with engine issues and everyone disappear while getting towed in.

You would be better off launching further south on the Delaware and driving north by water. JLN knows the lower bay/river better and will hopefully chime in with somewhere to launch. If you put in where his is, it would shave 30-45mins driving time and put you 20-30mins away by boat.


Looks like this may end up being a great turn out! Looking forward to flooding the Delaware with Checkmates and running side by side with all of you:bigthumb:

They have a very nice ramp and dock there. I ducked out of a rainstorm into there earlier this season. It is about 4 miles north of the Rancocas, where I launch.

not sure about the date yet , but as for ramps im most always on the jersey side of the delaware . there has to be some nice ramps on the pa side just south of phila but i do not know where they are.
