OOPS. Don't know how I posted twice. It's alo clear that I can't read!

60 mph with a 135 sounds good to me. Don't know if I could deal with much over 55 or 60. At times my boat can be a hand-full at 44 mph. I have seen some 150's and one 200 on the Enticer and Predictor but no 135's. I was curious about how a 135 would do. What kind of steering set up do you have, can't really tell from the photo. Is it HD or a standard factory type? Does your boat act-up at high speeds like mine? Funny thing about the boat colors, the guys with the blue and silver flake like the red and silver flake. I think the red and silver looks Sweet!

Mine runs real smooth up to about 55 mph but after that it gets a little loose.Ive heard the 135 is a little better on gas but about the same speed as a 150? My steering is Seastar hydraulic by Teleflex it is really nice you can steer with one hand and can feel no feedback at all.

Thanks Derrick, the looseness in my factory steering must be the reason for my handling problems. Looks like a quality steering unit will be a must with the motor swap. I also noticed you are an RC pilot. My dad has flown RC bi-planes and pattern ships as far back as I can remember. Have you seen the Hydro-foam RC boat/plane in action. It is a must see!! That thing looks like a blast.

No water shots yet but hope too soon. That Hydro-Foam looks really cool. When I get time I have a couple of profile planes and a glider I fly but theres just not enough time and to many neet things to do.

Nice boat

I like the bowrider inticer. Good job on the seats too! I need new seats for mine

i had a 69 tower of power 135 on my predictor and it went about 63. the 135 is not as powerfull as a 150 from what i understand. i am not a mechanic but i'm pretty sure its alot slower than a 150.
i hope to see more pics soon

They dont come already stiched together?
I was hoping to get them ready to go. I hope that I can get the same colors too. If you don't mind me asking how much did it all set you back?

You can get them covered but Mike at Checkmate said they didnt have that color so I ordered just the buckets with foam on them. The two buckets not covered was 300.00 I think he said 500.00 if they covered them I am not sure about the back or front seats.

Beautiful boat... the bar has been set high. Im just waiting for one to pop up for sale... if you ever need someone to take yours off your hands let me be the first to know!! Great job!

I now have Teleflex hyfraulic steering A 6" pro-jacker jack plate and a 1988 135 Merc. I plan on installing all the good stuff this winter. My 40 mph summer was not as fun as I had hoped for. I think next summer will be way better
