Dual Cable Steering

I'm planning on installing a teleflex Pro Rack dual cable steering on my Predictor here in the near future and am in desperate search of the dual cable steering bracket the mounts to my outboard. I have an 83 Merc 150 and am needing the complete bracket and steering link arm. Does anybody know a good place to look for one (or does anybody have one)? I have a post in the parts dept but have come up with nothing.

Also, is Boat Bandit a reliable place to buy stuff from? They have the cheapest price I've seen yet on the dual cable steering system. :surf:

Have a look at the ebay link. Does your mid have the bolt holes on the mid to mount the second cable bracket. I can't remember what year merc added the mounting holes for the second cable. I know I played hell trying to find the mounting stuff for my 78.

I've used Boat Bandit once. They shipped real quick with no hassles.

Can you post a phot when you get finished, might come in handy?

No prob. I'm sure I'll be posting many more pics in the future.

175, I'm pretty sure that my motor has the correct holes. The parts that I have found say they're for the 80+ Black Max. Good point though. I'll make sure to double check.

OK, so basically Im a D-bag. My outboard is already set up for dual cable steering. I just need to find the steering link arm and the bracket that ties the two cables together and I'm golden. Guess everyone has their fine points
