Dual ride steering Conversion!

Combat Rock

Member
I will be replacing my tired steering system with a new
teleflex pro rack system in the next month or so,
and where Im buying it from it says I need a kit for my motor
to change it from single to dual steering. I was wondering if anybody has experience in changing a system over to dual cable
and where do you get the kit from

any help appreciated,
thanks

Has them, thats where I purchased mine. The particular kit I needed turned out to be VERY expensive, and took over a month to get, so shop around. As it turned out, I could have gone hydraulic for just slightly more money, just something to consider. Hope this helps.

Hey friend, What kind of price have you found on the steering system? I may be able to help on the system and the dual cable kit for your motor. boatman

Depends on what kind of engine you have and how old it is. Someone actually called today looking for one and it turned out to be $185 new right from BRP for that particular engine. Some of them for the older ones are no longer available though. So if you have an OMC try your dealer.
