Earl's MX-13

If anybody is up in Atlanta I hope somebody would look this guy up. This man helped me through hard times when I was living in Georgia. He was like a father to me. He also is the man who got me interested in these boats because he has one cool boat an old school MX-13. He lives alone, has no family to visit him, no phone or internet. All he does is go to work, he is a Triton bass boat salesman at Boating Atlanta in Buford, GA (the man could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves!) and come home and work in the garage. If anybody lives in Georgia, please visit this man his knowledge is vast. I miss him and haven't talked to him for a long time. I'm gonna post some pics of his boat because he deserves it. As far as I know it is now rigged with a Merc 150 inline (he's a little nuts) and the boat still hasn't been driven since compleation. He's also the one who held onto my boat and kept it from my ex until I could pick it up when I moved back home to Florida. Anyway here's some pics.

Here's me and him on the day I came to bring my boat home. Just wanted to post some pics. He is a very good person and deserves it. I wish I had more pics.

What is Earl's last name. I knew an Earl that looks just like him, use to be a salesman at a dealer I worked for in Columbia SC. They let him go over 6 years ago and I haven't seen him since. His name was Earl Hudson. He was the same type of salesman as you describe, could even sell a glass of water to a drowning man. The Earl you describe sounds like the same one, if he isn't then the similarities are incredible.(Looks and personality)
Just curious.

Yeah that's him!!!! He's a great guy. I heard somewhere he used to be one of the #1 John/Rude and Whaler salesman in the US. He also used to race, I know he's got a Camaro in his garage with a fiberglass body with a 383 stroker in it, that he hasn't run forever due to his health.

As I said, he's still up to it.:p He does a little glasswork on the side. He now sells Triton bass boats, last time I talked to him he wanted to get out of Atlanta.

It's good to know he's still around. Last time I asked his former employers about him they didn't know where he was. I always liked Earl he was an aggressive salesman to say the least. I knew that he had some health issues, I think he had a rough time for a few years. He sold more boats than the rest of the sales staff combined, went after alot of the small and midsized markets where the other guys would sit back and wait on the "Big Deals". If you ever see him again tell him hello from me. We worked together for a number of years at Mid-Carolina Marine in Columbia S. Carolina. Send him my best wishes.

I plan on given him a call at work soon. He's always there. I got to ask him some questions. I will tell him you said hi. I'm sure he'll love to here that.:thumb: Your right about him not waiting on the big deals, he sold the cr@p out of Riverhawks when I worked with him.
