the newer bigger trailers I've looked at have had elec brakes so they must have something figured out..but even car trailers can see a lot of water in there and no problems...one of the biggest + is if you start getting some sway in the trailer, hit the brake controller...straitens right out !!!

I bought silver cad. rotors for my Audi S4 and they were toast in 2 years of driving in Pa. turnpike salt. I'm no fan of them. Perhaps there is a different degree of treatment, i dont know. But if Stainless is an option, i'd look into that first.
