I see people are getting new interior for there 80's mates.. is it from the factory???????/ does the factory still Make them or have them???? i have mine Waiting to be REDONE AS WE SPEAK.... I have a 86 enchanter it's getting a total face lift internal & external
 
2springers26, If you call the Checkmate factory they can send you a new interior for your boat. Just the vinyl or the complete setup, now with resin coated wood (not the green stuff painted on). They now make interiors in house for all their boats I just ordered the complete interior for my boat and its a 1988 model. They said they could easily go back as far as 1982 models. All you have to do is give them the number of the hull and they will pull the original order and make you an interior just like the one that came with it when it was new!! I'll bet they could probably redo in just about any colors. The prices they quoted me for just the vinyl are comprable to what it would have costed to have them done here where I live.
 
$ 850.00 for rear bench, front buckets & side covers... done in original colors as per your hull id #.... but the new syle seat designs to fit the old seats..... not all the piping & buttons....like the new mate seats...

i`m looking for something to get me threw the summer short on cash next year i`m going to do the hole interior over. i`m new to this web site so hi:cheers
