My first boat was a 1987 baja sunsport 187 outboard model in those same colors, mine was more of the gold and orange and less brown. Great boat, bought it when I was 19, loved it and spent countless hours on it crushing beers and having some great times. Had a 150 evinrude xp on it, I wished I had installed an hour meter, we were out skiing 5-7 days a week if the weather allowed it. That was the first boat I put a floor and stringers in, and I told myself it would be the last....but my starflite may need it so I take that back.

Gorgeous boat for the price however that is not a true 500EFI. Looks like a MEFI1 502 MPI that they did an intake swap on. Oiling system is also not 500EFI, looks also to be 502 MPI as it does not have the thermostatic system and has small oil lines.
